This handle is absolutely fantastic! Ergonomically engineered to make using the trimmer a breeze! My back used to hurt so bad trying to use the stock D ring handle. I highly recommend this! Installed in minutes and super easy to do.

This thing is a game changer, I don’t know how I didn’t have something like this sooner. No back pain after extensive cutting and not nearly as tired in general. Light weight but feels sturdy enough and it does not move or slip around at all. Very good product.

I only recently tried one of these extensions; and was impressed with the difference they make in reducing back pain. I'm over 6 feet tall; and all yard tools have handles that make me bend into them to get the work done. That first one was a pain to install, and lasted for one use; the bracket that held it on was nylon, and broke. With that experience; I began looking at replacements more selectively. The (2) most critical qualities being: (1) A lever adjustment; I'd already experienced trying to fine tune the angle by loosening and tightening 4 bolts while trying to hold the pieces in the correct shape. (2) An all metal bracket to attach the trimmer to the extension handle; the stresses involved on the pivot will eventually break the non-metal parts. This tool comes with better than average instructions that include the contact information for a warranty replacement for the first 1 year, and the option for a free extended warranty for 3 years by registering the tool. Everything you need to attach it is included; and it very easy to swap the upper hand grip from a Left to Right grip by loosening the (2) adjustment levers. Once you determine where to place the bracket on the trimmer; the adjustment levers allow you to make fine tuning in seconds. All of these features make the extension more useful in sloped, and irregular ground conditions where 'set it and forget it' might not work as well. This is not the most expensive ergonomic extension with these features; and not the least expensive either. But, the construction, warranties, and ease of adjusting make the difference in selecting this one over others worth the asking price.
